BRAVE stands for Black Roots and Voices Expressed and is a fun arts festival of performances and workshops in arts that originated in Black Culture.

BRAVE Festival 2025 was Epic!

BRAVE Festival is a Brave venture – Black artists stepped out and said actually, the way our culture is represented and defined isn’t good enough. We want to be known for what we have done rather than what was done to us.

It’s BRAVE to change to focus from slavery and oppression to joy, inclusion and knowledge through the arts.

Its BRAVE to come back for a second festival that is even bigger and better, but best of all this time we have involved local communities to be able to express themselves through the arts and have their say on what they wanted at the festival!
