Swirl Education's Story

Tricia Arthur-Stubbs is the founder and director of Swirl Education

I founded Swirl Education to offer fun, high quality dance workshops to all ages and abilities. We work in schools, out in the community and on commissioned projects. I am trained in contemporary and also specialise in Caribbean Carnival Dance. I am also trained in many other styles of dance. I was recently commissioned by The Leap to start BRAVE (Black Roots and Voice Expressed) Festival which was on Saturday 7th October in Bradford. Please take a look at our Commissions section to find out what else we've been up to or see our selection of school workshops.

Fun Dance Workshops for Primary Schools

Excite your students about the curriculum with one of our school dance workshops.

Chose any world dance style, including African, Indian and Chinese Dance. These workshops inspire pupils whilst helping them to achieve national curriculum targets in Geography, PSHE and PE. We can also tailor make workshops to hit your school's attainment targets for every subject including Literacy, Science and History. Children enthusiastically engage in our topic based workshops and this physicalisation of the curriculum compliments your classroom teaching too. Our workshops are are available throughout England and suitable for EYFS, Key Stage 1 - 2 and SEN. We are now offering virtual Zoom sessions.
